talula.

Hello There!

I would like to introduce to you a new friend, Talula. She is a black dutch bunny, and she is feisty and adorable. I have wanted a rabbit since I was little, so the 8-year old girl inside of me screamed for joy when I got her. Her are some ridiculously cute photos of her:

She's the best.

I have a few more blog posts to come very soon, so keep your eyes peeled!

game day outfits || ft. Fanatics

Hello There!

I know, I know, I have been M.I.A. for too long. But I am back! And I am excited to share some fun outfits for this sports season. Sports are starting back up again, and baseball teams are heading to the playoffs, so I thought I would share two easy game day outfits that are super cute, but still look effortless. The hats I found for my two outfits are from Fanatics. Fanatics is a really cool site for sports fanatics (see what I did there?) that has paraphernalia  from international sports teams and teams in the US. It's brilliant! Here are my looks:

I hope these outfits give you some inspiration for your next game! If you would like me to create a video with more game-ready outfits, let me know. And, if you want to check out more sports paraphernalia, go to fanatics.com.

What is your go-to game outift?

drugstore dash #2.

Hello There!

I wasn't planning on buying more makeup, but tons of new stuff has landed in my local drugstore that I wanted to try out and review for you all. Here's what I picked up:

I have not tried all of it enough to give full reviews now, but in-depth reviews with photos and swatches will be coming shortly!

What have you recently picked up from the drugstore?

wish, wish, want | etsy #8 // summertime

Hello There!

I haven't shopped on etsy in ages, so I shopped around and found some really adorable pieces:

LINK // RP 49.00

I have wanted a name necklace for such a long time, and this dainty necklace is so sweet! I know this necklace is imprinted with the initials of two people's names, but you can get anything you want imprinted.

LINK // RP 44.00

These pendants are beautiful, and are so popular! I have seen them everywhere layered with loads of other dainty necklaces. I also love how long they are and how unique the colors are. They are a bit pricey, but if you buy a white pendant it will go with just about everything, so I think it's worth the splurge!

LINK // RP 230.00

I know I could never afford such a beautiful bag, but a girl can dream! I love how slouchy it is, and I  love the long shoulder strap because it makes running around much easier and keeps you hands-free.

LINK // RP 28.00

I have been looking for a pair of black and white pom pom shorts for a long time, and this pair is inexpensive, is not super short, and has an elastic waist band. They look so comfy!

LINK // RP 22.50

I love these rings because they are cool and one of a kind. You can pick out the design you want, and they will you send you your own unique ring! They are a bit expensive, but I would rather pay for quality over quantity.

what have you found on etsy recently?

my current favorite bronzers // summertime

Hello There!

I haven't shared my favorite bronzers with you all, and I now use bronzer everyday. The three that I use almost everyday all off all different prices, so there is something for everyone! I have actually stopped using blush during the summer because my complexion is already so rosy. Here are my top favorites:

NYC smooth skin bronzer // sunny:

This is my all-time favorite, holy grail bronzer! I never thought applying a bronzer could be so easy and look so effortless. It is a matte bronzer, so it can be blended all over the skin for a glow or can be built up to contour your cheekbones. The one fault with this bronzer is that it only comes in one shade, which really only works on light to medium skin. Otherwise, it is absolutely fantastic! The best part about this bronzer is that it is so inexpensive, and is comparable to much more expensive bronzers. I use it everyday without fail, and it completely changes the shape of my face and makes my cheekbones look sculpted and lovely.

Pixi beauty bronzer // summertime:

When I first swatched this product, I was a little scared. It's more of a cool-toned brown, with a slight golden sheen. It's not quite a shimmer, but in a swatch it's still obvious that the bronzer has a glow. However, on the skin, this product is just wonderful! I apply it over the NYC smooth skin bronzer just in the hollows of my cheeks and up onto my temples. A little of this goes a long way, so I use it sparingly and blend it a lot to create a look with a lot of glow. I wouldn't use this product year round neccessarily, but it looks beautiful in the summer.

Estee Lauder soft matte bronzer // bronze goddess

This is the most expensive of my three favorites, but I think it is totally worth the money. This bronzer is very similar to Nars Laguna, a very popular bronzer that has an orange-y undertone and slight golden shimmer. I also like using this item the same way I use the Pixi bronzer; I never would blend it all over the skin because it would be too dark and harsh. Otherwise, it is a lovely bronzer that looks really natural, but still gives definition to the face. Be a little careful, because like the Pixi bronzer a little bit goes a long way!

RP 32.00

What do I use to apply bronzer?

Because I am so fair, I have found that using a regular contour brush makes my bronzer look too harsh, and doesn't blend it into my skin. It ends up looking muddy! Instead I use a long stippling brush, like the MAC 187, to blend the bronzer into my skin and the rest of my makeup, and give an airbrushed look to my makeup. For fair skin, it's perfect!

I hope this was helpful for those who are looking for a new favorite bronzer. While the NYC bronzer only works on light skin, the Estee Lauder and Pixi bronzers would work on all skin tones.

What are some of your favorite bronzers, and how do you apply them?
